Even though Formula Drift may not be as well-known for its crashes as say NASCAR, drifter Ryan Tuerck still had an unfortunate encounter with the wall at Formula Drift Long Beach on the weekend.
As the following videos show, the crash occurred after Tuerck ran wide in his Scion FRS drifter and slammed straight into wall, completely destroying the rear right tire.
What makes this incident all the more unique, is the fact that Tuerck had a helmet-mounted GoPro recording at the time of the crash which manages to capture the impact as well as Tuerck’s commentary afterwards!
