Although the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and Ferrari 458 Italia may seem extremely similar on paper, the two cars are in fact quite different creatures.
Sure, both feature high-performance V8 engines producing well over 550hp and both can hit 100km/h in less than 4 seconds before topping out near or just over 200mph. However, the SLS AMG has always been considered the better GT car of the two, thanks to its more docile ride and luxurious interior whereas the 458 Italia is much more of a performance-oriented car.
Both have gone onto be praised by the automotive press all over the world and m5boarddotcom on YouTube set about finding which of the two is faster in a rolling drag race.
