Video: Lamborghini Aventador vs Twin-Turbo Audi R8 V10 by Heffner Performance

The Lamborghini Aventador features a 6.5 liter V12 engine producing 692hp and is consequently one of the fastest accelerating road-cars on the planet thanks also to its advanced all-wheel drive system and single-clutch ISR transmission. However, how would the Aventador perform when pitted against a twin-turbocharged Audi R8 by Heffner Performance with a six-speed manual?

Well, the following video will answer that question once and for all. In stock form the Aventador is more than capable of completing the quarter mile in ten seconds through the use of its launch control, called ‘Thrust Mode’, but a twin-turbo V10 R8 should put up a decent fight.

After all, the particular R8 in this video produces 800hp at the wheels thanks to its bolt-on kit and also has an advanced all-wheel drive system.

So, who will win?
