Italian car builder Mazzanti Automobili has revealed new images and information of the their Mazzanti Evantra. A new version has been added to the lineup featuring a V8 engine.
The naturally-aspirated 7.0 liter V8 engine produces 701hp at 6,600rpm and 848Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. The power is converted to the road via a six-speed Silatronic automatic transmission. A sprint to 100km/h is done in 3.2 seconds and it has a top speed of more than 350km/h.
The name of the supercar comes from the ancient etruscan language, Evantra for the etruscan was the goddess of immortality. The design has been supervised by Luca Mazzanti together with Zsolt Tarnok. It features a lightweight steel chassis with either a composite material or handcrafted aluminum body. The total size of the car is 4,325mm in length, 1,225mm in height and 1,955mm in width. The wheelbase is 2,550mmm.
The Evantra V8 rides on 20 inch OZ wheels with 305/25 R20 at the rear and 255/30 R20 tires at the front. Stopping power is achieved using a Brembo brake kit with six-piston calipers and 380mm discs at the front axle and four-piston calipers with 360mm at the rear. Carbon ceramic discs are optionally available.
The V8 version is part of a lineup which also includes a Evantra with a six-in-line boxer engine with a displacement of 3.5 liter and a performance of 403hp or 603hp. The higher output is achieved by fitting two turbos. With the latter installed, the Evantra is capable of zero to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds.
The new Mazzanti Evantra will make its official debut at the Top Marques Monaco carshow in April.
