710hp Stassis Audi R8 V10 by VF Engineering

The VF-Engineering R&D facility in Anaheim, California has come up with a VF720 tuning package for the Audi R8 V10.

The package features a bolt on roots style supercharger system that adds 200hp and 200lbs of torque to the 5.2 liter V10 engine. An Eaton/Magnuson TVS2300 four-lobe roots blower with an air/water aftercooling system is also included.

The result is a lag-free instant punch of 5psi from as little as 2,000rpm, boost gradually climbs to 6.5psi at redline. Using just 91 or 93 octane the stock engine programming is recalibrated by VF in the form of an OBD2 port electronic flash. The tuner adds that this product is available for the 2008 and up models.

VF Engineering said that this package is not compliant with the California Air Resourse Board and cannot be used on public roads in California.
