Leaked: Production Version Gumpert Tornante Trademark Drawings

The production version of the Gumpert Tornante has shown its face via a series of freshly filed trademark design drawings, which leaked today and were shared by our friends at WorldCarFans.

The leak follows news that Gumpert has recently emerged from a provisional insolvency with new orders and a new future. The Tornante could be part of this future. Released as a concept touring model at the Geneva Motor Show 2011, the new model has slightly changed its design.

The design features a louvred rear window, horizontal exhaust pipes and new taillights. At the front, the lip spoiler and headlights were revised. The body still has gullwing doors.

The concept was built on an advanced chrome-molybdenum steel space frame with a carbon fiber body. The Gumpert Tornante was powered by the same engine as the Gumpert Apollo, the 4.2 liter V8 biturbo which delivers 700hp.
