The supercar has come an extraordinarily long way in the past thirty years, with new technologies and lightweight materials helping to redefine the way in which such cars are produced and how they perform. Although one could argue that all supercar manufacturers have progressed since the 1980’s, Lamborghini has unquestionably progressed as much as any other.

Back in the 1980’s, the Lamborghini Countach was all the rage with its outlandish styling and powertrain helping to prove to the world that supercars could become true status symbols. Fast forward to 2012, and we have the Lamborghini Aventador withholding an identical principle as it has instantly become one of the most sought-after and recognisable cars launched in the past decade.

And in a new video released by AutoEmotionenTV for YouTube, both of these classic supercars were captured cruising the streets of Lamborghini’s hometown of Sant’Agata Bolognese in Italy.

Even though the video goes for just under one minute, it does help to capture the significant styling changes of these two cars as well as their differing performance capabilities and exhaust notes.
