For any Formula One diehards out there, the name RAM Racing may ring a bell. This is because the racing firm competed at motorsports highest level from the mid-1970’s till the mid-1980’s, and the company has recently announced it’ll be entering international GT racing next year with its two Ferrari 458 Italia’s recently being finalised for the GTE category.

The Ferrari 458 Italia GT has already proven to be an extremely successful racer after taking numerous GT-racing victories in different classes all around the world, so choosing two of these fearsome Italian exotics was a no-brainer for RAM Racing’s team boss Dan Shufflebottom.

We’re massively looking forward to the challenge ahead-every single on of us. We’ve done our homework carefully, have put together what we consider to be a cracking team of people, and taken delivery of one of the most beautiful GT racing cars in competitions, the Ferrari 458. As we like tackling things head on, we’re going to be using the Dubai 24 Hours as our debut in international racing so that we’ll be completely ‘run in’ by the time the ELMS begins in April.

Full details on the car and the team’s drivers have yet to be released, but are expected to hit the net in the coming weeks.
