Porsche Registers ‘919’ Name at German Patent Office

Porsche has registered the combination ‘919’ at a German patent office. The combination of numbers is marked as ‘word mark’, which means that Porsche can use the figures for a future model.

For know it is uncertain whether Porsche will use the new name. The car manufacturer wants to protect certain combinations against other parties using them. The sports car maker registered the figures earlier this year in October. Over the past few days, the ‘919’ name was entered in the patent register.
