Video Pagani Huayra Supercar by National Geographic Channel

This next video shows you 45 minutes story behind the Pagani Huayra. National Geographic Channel was given the opportunity to follow, document and share with us the story behind Pagani’s masterpiece. The work of art is detailed in the must-see video showcasing the early development phases to the reveal at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 by its creator, Horacio Pagani.

Just recap. The Pagani Huayra is powered by a 6.0 liter Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12 engine which puts out a whopping 700 horsepower and 1,000Nm of torque. Thanks to this, the Huayra is able to blast itself from standstill to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds, while its top speed is an impressive 370km/h.

  1. I am a long time ferrari fan but this thing is at another level I really love this car and man what a special thing this is…whatever great documentary of a great car thank for sharing gtspirit…

  2. Molto Grazie GT guys seeing as how this series hasn’t made its way to the States . Any chance of you tossing up the Koenigsegg episode as well ?

  3. > urdrago – best be taking a second look see at the specs good sir . I’m afraid your numbers for the AudiGhini are a bit overly optimistic in the ‘ real ‘ world . Not to mention AudiGhini’s like Ferrari’s of late being pretentious ‘ Track Day ‘ wanna be’s whereas the Pagani is a ‘ ROAD ‘ car with track capabilities . Which means you’ll more likely drive the Pagani rather than leave it in the garage 99% of the time as 99.9% of all Ferrari/ AudiGhini drivers do . Look it up . More than half of Pagani owners use their cars weekly if not daily . Oh and that AudiGhini is stuffed to the gills with VW off the shelf parts whereas the Pagani’s are bespoke from stem to stern . Conclusion ? 1/4 of the price yes .. but … less than 1/8 of the quality and usability ;-)

Aventador space inside the chasis is bigger, so the Lambo seems more liveable, other thing is you want to change more gadgets inside (Asuming The huayra has) for carbon fiber at the outside to compensate, anyway the Lambo is faster at any track, except maybe in an Autobahn with a high risk of killing yourself…
