AKA Eurosport’s Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG is a pretty unique machine. For starters, it is the only G55 AMG in the world with a panoramic roof! Aside from that unique feature, the AKA Eurosport model also has a set of interior, exterior and performance upgrades.
On the outside, the copper edition features a complete AKA Eurosport 2nd Generation body kit, Mansory headlights with daytime running LEDs, LED foglights for the front bumper and custom LED tail lights. The G55 AMG also gets AKA side grills, carbon fiber door handles, rear vents, and side mirrors and an AKA carbon fiber hood with two-tone finish.
The wheels benefit from a new set of Donz 23 inch one-piece forged Montana wheels and a Brembo Brake kit featuring eight pistons at the front and four pistons at the rear. Tyres are TOYO units measuring 295/40/23 and the suspension gets a set of AKA Lowering springs, reducing ride height by 40mm.
Inside, the G55 AMG gets a full custom Copper carbon fiber trim, Melon Leather and full suede alcantara surfaces complete with double stitching. The sound system is an Audison unit with 4×6 inch speakers, four tweeters, a 5.15 channel amplifier and a 12 inch sub woofer with custom box. As far as entertainment and connectivity goes, the G55 AMG gets a nine-inch touch screen control panel, mobile computing with Windows 7 and built in 4G, an L.E.T GPS Navigation and Bluetooth system, live on screen vehicle data, WiFi connectivity and a custom rear entertainment system with iPad.
Finally, the engine gets a stage 1 ECU upgrade supplied by Hi Line Motorsport. It offers a 60hp and 50lb-ft of torque.
