Showing what’s possible with new ZL1 driveline and 1LE suspension kits from Chevrolet Performance, this black Camaro SS is transformed from an easy-going street driver to an SCCA Touring 2 weekend warrior. The model is showcased on the SEMA 2012 Chevy stand.

The Chevrolet Performance components include a Camaro ZL1 rear differential kit, 5.1-ratio short-throw shifter, shock tower brace with white Camaro graphic, Camaro 1LE suspension kit and a Camaro ZL1 brake conversion kit. It also features a number of exterior appearance enhancements and ZL1-based interior components.

The exterior highlights include a concept dual-mode exhaust system, Camaro ZL1 rockers and rear lower diffuser, Camaro Dusk front splitter, upper front fascia blackout graphic, hood and decklid graphics in red metallic, Chevrolet Accessories black blade rear spoiler, heritage grille and gill graphics.

The Camaro rolls on Chevrolet Accessories 20×10 inch (front) and 20×11 inch (rear) five-spoke black wheels with polished fangs. On the inside, the Camaro ZL1 black suede seat inserts with Jet Black leather seats are combined with Torch Red stitching and carbon fiber-material bolsters, Red suede stripe on the driver’s seatback, a Camaro ZL1 flat-bottom steering wheel with carbon fiber material and Camaro ZL1 suede shift knob with 5.1 badge.

Other interior upgrades area leather a carbon fiber-material-wrapped instrument panel and door inserts, a suede-wrapped soft instrument panel insert, Chevrolet Accessories lighting package, pedal covers, Camaro-logo premium floor mats, concept Chevrolet Performance embroidered console lid and sill plates, and Production RS gauge package.
