Ian Fleming’s James Bond movies are celebrating their fifth anniversary this year. As part of an auction celebrating that milestone, the Aston Martin DBS used in Quantum Of Solace is being offered for sale.

The auction will be held on September 28th by auction house, Christie’s. They estimate that the British supercar will fetch somewhere between 160,000 USD and 240,000 USD. The valuation is much lower than the car original price tag in 2008 of 265,000 USD. However, the price is just an estimate and could easily be inflated considering iconic cars used by celebrities have in the past auctioned for prices of up to a million dollars. Take for example the Porsche 911S with a market value of around $140,000 which sold for $1.4 million, because it was driven by Steve McQueen in the movie Le Mans.

Other items that will be auctioned alongside this Aston martin include the silk wrap dress worn by Halle Berry in Die Another Day, the swimming trunks worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale and a replica of the BMW Z8 roadster, from the movie The World is not Enough.

This Aston Martin DBS is one of 7 that survived in the stunts from the movie another reason why it could auction for much higher prices. It comes with standard features including Halogen projector headlamps, extruded aluminum door, carbon fiber trim and a black interior with a 6.0 liter V12 engine that produces 510HP and a six-speed manual transmission.

All the proceeds from the 50 Years of Bond sale will go to benefit UNICEF and eleven other charities.
