It seems that the Ferrari 458 Italia still hasn’t shaken that ridiculous propensity to set itself on fire. The latest victim is this red example that caught fire on the A5 autobahn in Switzerland. The accident happened between Neuchâtel and Yverdon at around 5pm last Saturday.

Sources suggest that the fire was caused by a ‘technical problem’ which means that naturally, associations are going to be drawn with the recall Ferrari originally made to cure the combustion issue. No definite cause has been announced, thankfully nobody was injured.
