Drive recently took a trip across the Atlantic to visit Pagani over in San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, Italy. We’ve been lucky enough to visit the factory and experience the Huayra ourselves so it’s satisfying to see such an excellent video explaining the company, start through to present and future.

In the video you’ll see the first couple of Pagani Huayra’s, chassis number 8, the first customer right hand drive Huayra and, of course the test vehicles. You’ll notice the Pagani Zonda 760 RS in the background. We also find out that eleven cars will need to be destroyed just to satisfy the US sales. Pagani has eighty orders already for the Huayra and hope, after moving to a new facility, to be able to produce fourty a year.

We’ll leave JF Musial to explain the rest. We really can’t recommend this video enough. Another fantastic installment of Drive!

  1. That !!!! By far is the best video DRIVE has put out to date : almost rivaling the ‘ Official ‘ Pagani Huayra video . Almost .

Now if the Pagani book would only become available in the US seeing as how that and a diecast or two is about the closest I’ll get to owning one .
