MotorAuthority just received the first spyshots of a fully finished 2013 BMW M5 Ring Taxi hitting the Nurburgring Nordschleife. After being replaced last year with a M3 Sedan, the M5 is back where it belongs, on the Green Hell.

The new M5 is powered by a high-revving 4.4 liter V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo package along with race-bred chassis technology that includes, for the first time, an Active M differential and electronic damping control. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 4.4 seconds, and 0-200km/h in only 13 seconds. The voluntarily limited top speed is 250km/h.

The new M5 Ring Taxi is due to enter service later this year and the car pictured here already has fully BMW Driving Experience decals. Stay tuned for the first experiences from official passenger rides at the famous German race track.
