German tuner MTM has released a special project; the MTM T 500 2.5 TFSI 4motion, based on a VW T5. As you can see clearly, the MTM creation is perfectly suited for a trip to the European Football Championship. The ideal fan for fans and groupies.
The T 500 is driven by an in-line five-cylinder producging 472hp at 6,900rpm. At 4,100rpm, the unit racks up a torque of 625Nm and a top speed of 280km/h. On the contrary, even the briskest T5 with serial power stays within a civil speed range, at about 200km/h.
The power increase inside the MTM T 500 asks for larger disc brakes, firmly gripped by two six-piston fixed callipers at the front axle. Mounted on the 9×20 inch MTM Bimoto rims are 275/35 ZR 20 Michelin SuperSport. A KW Street Comfort coilover suspension keeps the high speed transport to Poland and Ukraine on the road.
The MTM T 500 is yours for under 160,000 euro. The MTM T 500 will make its public release next Tuesday at the Geneva Motor Show 2012.
