German car maker Melkus has released the Melkus RS2000 Black Edition, which features a special black paino lacquer finish, black interior trim and some additional technical upgrades.
The paintwork requires six layers with each layer being sanded separately. It provides an extraordinary brilliant deep black finish and a very smooth surface. The exterior is rounded off with a carbon sport bodykit.
The cabin also features a black finish. Black full-grain leather furnishing and an Alcantara interior roof lining as well as a series of piano lacquer and carbon applications are added to the interior trim.
The Black Edition also has more standard equipment. This includes an infotainment system with a navigation function and a high-performance braking system as well as an improvement in performance. Powered by a two-liter turbo-engine with a six-speed gearbox and 325hp, the Melkus RS2000 Black Edition accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds. The car’s top speed equals 270km/h.
The basic price for a Melkus RS2000 Black Edition is 149,900 euro.
