We’re big fans of the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG here at GTspirit. We love it when a tuner take on the project of making this car faster, that’s why we were interested to hear that Carlsson have released pictures of a white Carlsson CK63 RS. The concept behind this car was to present something festive around the new year. The pictures and details were released in Germany prior to Christmas and now Carlsson have sent them to us ahead of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, where another colour variant of the powerful sedan will be on display.
The spec is the same, Carlsson have managed to pull 652hp from the CK63 RS compared to the original 557hp. Maximum torque increases from 800Nm to 1,000Nm meaning a 0 to 100km/h time of 4.1 seconds. Carlsson have also fitted an adjustable valv exhaust system with and metal catalysts. The wheels are 20 inch Carlsson 1/10 Brilliant Edition light weight alloys and the suspension sits lower by 30mm.
The aerodynamics package includes a new carbon fibre front spoiler, spoiler lip, trunk lid spoiler, rear skirt insert and diffuser. The paintwork is Diamond White Metallic and the interior colour is Santa Red. Finally, inside Carlsson Nappa Exclusive leather has been applied with chequered white stitching.
