By today’s standards, German tuning company Albert Motorsport is a relatively small concern. They work from a factory outside Oberhausen specialising on both road and track vehicles. One of their latest projects is a Porsche 996 which they performed a major cosmetic lift on, producing a GT2 race car look-a-like with a chopped roof.
Perhaps the closest resemblance to this project we could think of is the 9ff GT9-R Clubsport. We think that this car has been designed as a racing project with a lower roof line and an extreme bodykit. It gets a number of 997 refinements. No details are available at the moment, however, the build photos should be more than enough to give you an idea of the effort the small company went to!
Thanks to Jon Sibal for bringing this to our attention. For more pictures visit Albert Motorsport’s Google+ page.
It’s a 997 not 996
Nice.

If you look closely on picture 4, you’ll realize how wrong you are.
