Audi Club of Espana took the 500hp-strong MTM Audi A1 Nardo Edition for a spin. On the Autobahn they hit an astonishing 324km/h (201mph) visible on the GPS receiver. They even raced against a Porsche 991 (997) Sport Classic and BMW E92 M3.
The basis is turbocharged FWD Audi A1 with a six-speed manual gearbox and limited slip differential. For improved aerodynamics the Audi A1 has 19 inch wheels with wheel covers. The acceleration has been improved to 4.5 seconds from 0-100km/h. If you want to know more about the A1 Nardo Edition then check out our road test right here.
Damn..Fast A1.
Too bad i’s so ugly… we really need small fast cars.
Yep. The color is ugly, but the car isnt. And its amazing, because its FWD, and still beating Porsche and BMW ;)
I rather like the colour scheme, and just love those 19in rims, with dead exclusive Michelin pilot tyres, made especially for this great little A1.
Only problem, Mr Mayer is only making 6 of these little beauties, and i bet their all sold, and in wealthy clients private collections.
I only wish i could be in the passenger seat, when accelerating past seriously expensive lesser vehicles.
