Our friends over at Playground got a chance to shoot the brand new Porsche 911 (991) Carrera S recently. They released a video and a set of five photos documenting their experiences with Porsche’s latest sports car. The photos were shot for the local Porsche Dealership and the video was put together by the company secretary on an iPhone!
The new Porsche 911 (991) Carrera S features a 100 millimeter longer wheelbase, a wider front track, remodeled interior mirrors and a reduced height. Porsche have fitted an all-new, lightweight body using an intelligent aluminium-steel construction. The 911 Carrera S with PDK manages to accelerate from nought to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds. Pressing the Sport Plus button on the optional Sport Chrono package cuts that to 4.1 seconds.
