German tuner Väth has released their latest program based on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, the V63 Supercharged. The program includes an upgrade in power, exterior looks and interior refinements.
The total power is lifted to 680hp and 840Nm of torque. An acceleration from zero to 100km/h takes only four seconds and the tuned AMG reaches a top speed of 335km/h. The V63 Supercharged is the name of a tuning kit, which includes the fine-tuning of engine electronics as well as a compressor system with VÄTH water intercooling system. The oil in the engine and the gearbox is protected by a special cooling system against possible overheating.
The Germans also installed a high-performance brake system with 380mm rotors, a new exhaust system, a stainless steel manifold, a carbon front spoiler and a carbon fiber rear diffuser with enlarged fins. Väth also developed a carbon fender for the rear axle, which allows widening the track by 80mm. The boot is decorated with an additional lip.
The V63 rides on three-spike 9×20 inch VÄTH forged rims with 255/30-20 tires or 11×20 inch rims with 295/25-20 tires at the rear. A Clubsport coilover suspension is available allowing lowering up to 20-65mm. When installed, it is possible to adjust the height and hardness resulting.
An optional sports steering wheel is covered in leather and can optionally be installed with wood or carbon applications. The speedometer extension to 360km/h is another VÄTH Supercharged option.
