
A 41-year-old driver of a Ferrari 430 Scuderia wrecked his prancing horse on the Autobahn A9 towards Berlin on Saturday afternoon at about 15:30 local time. Near junction Pegnitz he lost control of the Italian sports car while driving at high speed on a wet road.
He did not manage to stabilize the Ferrari and into the guardrail. The driver was uninjured, but his 17-year-old son in the passenger seat suffered a small hand injury. According to the owner, the damage will be about € 150,000.
