SEMA 2011 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Carbon Concept

The fourth and final concept revealed by Chevrolet at the 2011 SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas is this Camaro ZL1 Carbon Concept. It incorporates all the technology and performance of the Camaro ZL1, but with an added layer of carbon fiber. Included as part of this concept is the new Ashen Gray exterior paint available on all 2012 Camaro models.

The vehicle highlights include an exposed-weave carbon fiber “Mohawk” hood insert, a carbon fiber rear spoiler with stainless-steel wicker bill and carbon fiber inserts on the interior door and instrument panel. Lightweight 20×10 inch (front) and 20×11 inch (rear) wheels finished in satin black with machined faces have been fitted, for the brakes Brembo six-piston calipers with two-piece rotors are fitted up front and four-piston calipers at the rear. Other highlights include the Magnetic Ride Control and dual-exit exhaust outlets with an active exhaust system and diffuser.

On the inside, there’s a Jet Black leather interior with suede microfiber seat inserts and Torch Red stitching, a ZL1 short-throw shifter with suede and carbon fiber-trimmed shift knob, a Suede-trimmed flat-bottomed steering wheel and ZL1 pedals.
