Alongside the successful Audi R8 LMS, Audi Sport is now offering another attractive customer sport race car. The racing version of the Audi TT RS is available for customers immediately.
The racing version of the Audi TT RS is developed jointly by quattro GmbH and Audi AG. The TT RS is powered by a 2.5 liter five-cylinder turbo engine with an output of about 380 horsepower. Its power drives the front wheels via a sequential six-speed racing transmission. Paddle shifters allow customers to fully concentrate on the action on the race track.
The body of the Audi TT RS is designed for maximum safety and high aerodynamic efficiency. But downforce is not the only thing that helps to put the power on the road. Therefore Audi has developed a sophisticated racing suspension with a wide range of adjustment options which benefits the road-holding and balance.
The Audi TT RS extensively tested for about one year and is designed for extremely high mileage. It also won its class at this year’s Nürburgring 24-hours race on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in June. Perhaps even more impressive is the first pole position of a front-wheel drive vehicle in the history of the VLN Endurance Racing Championship and the overall victory in the very wet six-hour VLN Endurance race at the Nordschleife, beating an Audi R8 LMS.
The ready-to-race Audi TT RS is being offered for the price of € 180,000. Support and service from Audi is included in the price, taxes are not.
