Video Speed Demon's Record Winning Run at Bonneville

Breaking the ultimate speed record at Bonneville is something unique, filming it gives us an unique view on the whole run. At Bonneville Speedweek 2011 George Poteet drove the Bonneville Blown Fuel Streamliner known as Speed Demon and set a new speed record at 390.709mph, breaking the old record of 366.043mph.

The Speed Demon also earned the prestigious Hot Rod Magazine trophy for the fastest measured mile, at an astonishing 426mph, as seen in the video below.
