EVO magazine has made a passenger ride in the Pagani Huayra. Harry Metcalfe got a chance to see the Huayra up close at an event for Pagani owners in Sardinia. He was invited because he has a Pagani Zonda in his garage.
The Huayra offers a Mercedes-AMG powered, twin-turbo M158 V12. Displacement is 5980cc and power peaks at 700 horsepower and 1,000Nm of torque. The Huayra is designed with aerodynamics of a wing in mind and considered to be the lightest sports car in its class at 1,350kg. Only twenty units will be produced in 2011.
Its definitely a over the top interior, with remarkable craftsmenship on display and Pagani’s own passion for creating Super cars is evident in just the way he speaks about them. But i really didnt like sound of the TURBO whistle in this video. The aero braking system looks awesome, the changebale lighting of the dashboard, NOT.
I dont like Huayra sounds. Zondas was better.
And the turbo-sound is supposed to be cool? It sounds like shit!
That Turbo sound gives me headache reminds me with dentist tools :((
