Ferrari World Design Contest Winner

The winners of the Ferrari World Design Contest 2011 have been announced. Fifty universities from around the globe competed to design the future Ferrari in the 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest. The winning design was made by three students of the Hongik University of Seoul, South Korea and called the Ferrari Eternità. The participants in the contest received the challenge to design a true Ferrari hypercar. After an initial 2D design, a 3D computer model and 1:4 scale model was made.

Ferrari’s Chairman Luca di Montezemolo praised the winners for their creativity and said the Ferrari World Design Contest might lead to ideas and designs that could be used to develop the future lineup of Ferrari. An overview of the winners and the two designs that received the second and third prize:

1. Eternità – Kim Cheong Ju, Ahn Dre and Lee Sahngseok – Hongik University (Seoul)
