Todays photo shows the legendary McLaren F1 GTR Longtail from 1997. The GTR Longtail in the photo is Chassis #28R, it was originally chassis #27R, which was damaged in transport. Following this damage in transport it was Rebuilt for FIA GTC Competition as a spare car, and was raced late in FIA GT in 1997.
It was recently bought at auction in Japan by the ROFGO Gulf Collection where it will join another of the Gulf McLaren F1 GTR Longtails.
