As requested by one of our visitors. This is Harry Metcalfe, from Evo magazine, who recorded a video diary when he was lucky enough to drive Nick Mason’s Enzo down to South of France.
Sounds like a dream job, until you discover the Enzo wasn’t ready to collect from Bob Houghton’s workshop near Oxford in the UK until 3pm and the Enzo needed to be on location on the legendary Col de Vence, just above Nice, by 8am the next morning. Oh and he also had to drive it back the next day.
Just saw it on YouTube an hour ago! That video is priceless.
My favorite car… and Nick Mason’s Enzo is quite amazing with its black rims and discrete red lip! LOVE IT!
I got the mag article, there is a test between the Enzo and 3 hot hatchbacks,is there a video of it yet?
Sounds a bit rubbish to me. Having to drive through the night on near empty roads in a supercar. I’m glad it’s not me.
@Alex: yes the video is up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6OlCkcOCt0
Thanks Dave, the video was a bit confusing, not the best i have seen but still the article is great.
