The video below shows the latest Milltek Sport’s Racing exhaust system for the Audi R8 5.2 V10 FSI. The new Race system will compliment Milltek’s existing performance exhaust that was released back in 2009.
According the exhaust specialist, it’s designed to give it a more Lamborghini-like sound without being overly loud. Not only does it achieve this brief, it also gives a useful 9kg weight saving over the OEM exhaust system. Feel free to comment on that statement.
I love how Milltek exhaust sounds so burly when it is under load but is more mellow when you are crusin. I had an 06 S4 Avant with Magnaflow and it was super obnoxious all the time. On my 05 S4 Sedan I am running Milltek and it has the perfect clean sounding bellow but I can still talk at normal volume inside the car. Definately a fan of Milltek.
