Geneva 2011: Brabus 800 Widestar

Geneva 2011 Brabus 800 Widestar

German tuner Brabus released during the 81st Geneva Auto Salon, the most powerful offroader, the Brabus 800 Widestar. Under the bonnet, a total power of 800hp from 5,500rpm and a staggering 1,420Nm of torque from just 2,100rpm is converted to the road.

Although torque has had to be limited to 1,100Nm, the Widestar is still capable of 0-100km/h in just 4.0 seconds and an electronically (and some would say dynamically) limited top speed of 240km/h.

We had a closer look at the upgraded SUV and spotted similarities with the G V12 S introduced at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
