Geneva 2011: Mercedes C63 AMG Facelift

Geneva 2011 Mercedes C63 AMG Facelift

Mercedes-Benz has released their facelifted C63 AMG to the public at the Geneva Auto Salon. The facelift comes with an aggressive new front fascia, an aluminum hood, a single-bar grille and new headlights with LED indicators.

Other highlights include a modified rear bumper with black diffuser insert, revised tail lights, and restyled 18 inch alloy wheels. In the interior you’ll find a new dashboard, an upgraded instrument cluster, dark aluminum trim and piano black accents. As a nice extra all Mercedes C63 AMG models are outfitted with an improved suspension that features an anti-roll bar and revised spring rates.

Most important is the power source, which will be the naturally-aspirated 6.3 liter V8 with 451hp and 600Nm of torque. The power is derived to the road via a seven-speed SpeedShift MCT transmission which enables the sedan to sprint from standstill to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The top speed is limited to a standard 250km/h.
