Mach7 Motorsports Falcon Supercar

Another new sports car brand has shown its face to the world. Mach7 Motorsports based in Michigan, USA – known as Viper tuner – presented itself at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show.

Their main product is the newly developed Falcon, which is targeted at fifteen units per year. The sports car has an aluminum hydro-formed chassis with a carbon fiber monocoque. The standard powerplant is a Corvette LS3 V8 engine producing 500hp. Mach7 also offers the GM LS9 engine with 640hp.

Mach7 displayed an unfinalized prototype of the Falcon in Detroit was an unfinalized prototype. Figures are unavailable at this moment. Pricing of the Falcon is expected around $ 200,000 according to a company representative with first deliveries beginning before the end of the year.

  1. I wouldn’t call the design original. It doesn’t look professional at all. The front view is ok but the side view seems to come from the 80s. Certainly not what you’d expect for $200,000.

  2. It looks like a kit car. Nearly every aspect is borrowed from something else and I’d be willing to bet none of it functional or tested.

    And here’s the serious question – how does a Viper tuner end up shoehorning Corvette motors into its kit cars?

    Can anyone recognize the actual car platform this is built on? I know its not a 100% new build.
