Ferrari 430 Challenge

The Imola Circuit was host to an event called “Happening Della Solidarietà” at the end of October last year. The event was organised to raise money for a charity that supports people with health problems. GTspirit member Smartdriver attended the event and brought us some incredible pictures and an onboard video of a lap in the Ferrari 430 Challenge which takes part in the Ferrari Challenge championship.

This is what Smartdriver experienced the two laps around Imola:

I was stunned almost in every sector. Acceleration with incredible and spectacular sound (thanks to the lack of sound proofing), changing gears, carbon ceramic brake system that can easily let you fly out of the car to any hard deceleration (even though I was attached like a salami in the four points racing seat) and most amazing thing, at least for me, the incredible grip. Inside, it seems that the roll is zero, the car leans slightly and with little weight on the outer wheel, while the enormous traction generated by tires put your body press fiercely to the seat with lateral uncommon g forces! I tried to do my best, but without a fixed support is hard to hold the camera with all these stress inside the car!
