Check out the following video made by The Smoking Tire’s Tom Morningstar. It shows one of the ‘coolest’ races in the world; the 24 Hours of Dubai. The endurance race featured cars like the SLS GT3, R8 LMS, Evora Cup, Porsche 911 Cup, and Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 and was a must-see for car enthusiasts.
The Need for Speed-Schubert team from Oschersleben, Germany has won the sixth running of the Dunlop 24H of Dubai, the first international endurance race of the year for GTs, touring cars and 24H specials. After 24 hours of racing at the 5.390 kilometres long Dubai Autodrome, Claudia Hürtgen drove the car across the finish line. The team had with Hürtgen, Augusto Farfus, Edward Sandström and Tommy Milner racked up a total of 594 laps with the BMW Z4 GT3.
Once again Tom Morningstar makes a superb video.
No doubt that race itself is superb, but were there any spectators at all!?
The venue looked like a desert. Which it is… :D
