More Details On Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Surface

More details on Chevrolet’s rumoured Z28 Camaro have made their way onto the internet. Camaro5.com are reporting that those who attended the National Chevrolet Dealer’s meeting where they were told that the car would enter production on January 1st, 2012.

During the meeting, the car was referred to as the “HP Edition” although many suspect it to be unveiled as the Z28. It will feature the 6.2 liter supercharged engine similar to that already found in the SS. The same engine can also be found in the Cadillac CTS-V where it puts out 556 horsepower and 551 pound-feet of torque.

Magnetic Ride suspension will also feature and the car will run on 285F / 330R tires.

The hood design is set to feature air vents as seen in spy photos. There will also be slight updates to the interior with some brighter trimwork. The car was initially scheduled to be released before the collapse of the American giant, now that things are looking a little brighter, management have decided to release the special edition.
