The Porsche Panamera Diesel is heading our way, according to Porsche CEO Matthias Müller. He confirmed in an interview with Germany’s Westfalen-Blatt that the success of the Cayenne diesel was one of the key reasons for launching the new Panamera variant.
He did not state what engine would be used, but we expect the Germans will use be the 3.0 liter TDI with 236hp and 550Nm of torque. The powertrain will also include the eight-speed automatic transmission.

This is the definitive end of the exclusive sport car makers. Cayenne then Cayenne diesel and now Panamera diesel, in the future Cajun. Oh my God. Porsche will be only a better Volkswagen.

It´s the begin of the end… I almost cried :(
What has VW done to Porsche?
I´m just waiting for the 2012 911 Hybrid.
Why allways underestimating diesel? Did you guys forget Audi’s plans for the R8 v12 TDI with (or more than) 1000nm torque?
