BMW Gran Coupé Goes Into Production

BMW Concept Gran Coupé

Only a few day before the Audi A7 will be officially introduced in Munich, BMW has revealed that the Gran Coupé concept will go into production.

The unique four-door luxury saloon is the main competitor to the Porsche Panamera, next-generation Mercedes CLS to be unveiled in Paris and the Audi A7 introduced in two days time. Unfortunately, people interested have to wait until 2012. A hybrid version is not out of the question.

Development Chef Klaus Draeger has stated that the Gran Coupé, both in technique and pricing, will share parts with the new 6 Series.
