Lexus has revealed its 2011 IS-F model. The vehicle receives several interior updates including LED daytime running lamps, an improved suspension, and a new brake override system.
The engineers have revised the Electric Power Steering (EPS) system, front and rear spring rates, shock absorber dampening, rear bushings and rear camber angle.
The sporty interior is complemented with new IP gauges, a silver colored-trimmed steering wheel, and dark finish aluminum composite ornamentation. The Sport mode switch has also been moved to the steering wheel for easier access. In addition, vehicles with a Black interior receive Alcantara seat inserts with leather bolsters. An all-new Orange and Black leather interior with contrast stitching replaces the Terra Cotta interior.
The Lexus IS-F is still powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine producing 416hp at 6,600rpm and a peak torque of 371lb-ft at 5,200rpm. The eight-speed Sport Direct Shift transmission converts the power from the engine to the wheels.
