Two new Mercedes CL models have leaked into the world via Autoblog.it. Four pictures give a first glimpse of the new vehicles. The CL63 AMG features a 5.5 liter, twin-turbo V8 engine with 544 horsepower and 800 newtonmeter; 26 horsepower more than the previous 6.3 liter engine. His bigger brother – the CL65 AMG – has a 6.0 liter, twin-turbo V12 engine producing 630hp and 1000Nm.
The two versions differ with respect to the body kit, the alloy wheels and the exhaust pipes. The Mercedes CL 63 AMG is equipped with 19 inch alloy wheels and square exhaust pipes, while the CL 65 AMG has 20 inch alloy wheels and oval exhaust pipes. Furthermore, there are some minor changes with respect to the front dam, side skirts and rear diffuser.
Favorite Non black series merc of all time……minus the clk gtr…..favorite “normal” merc of all time!
Along with the Bentley GT Speed the best luxury sport coupé regarding power, luxury and elegance.
But i´m not really sure about the V8´s exhaust pipes – they aren´t suitable for the CL, as well as the CL65´s silver frontspoiler and the silver diffusor.
