McLaren F1 GTR César Art Car

One of the most famous McLaren F1 GTR’s is about to hit the auction blocks. This car is Chassis #5, originally purchased by French racer Jean-Luc Maury–Laribiére, who campaigned it at Le Mans in 1994 before commissioning the paint job a year later. César, renowned French sculptor and assemblage artist, designed the liveries currently seen on the car.

The car is expected to fetch somewhere in the region of € 2 – 2.5 million. Artcurial Motors will be auctioning the vehicle on July 9th during the Le Mans Classic event.
