2011 Chevrolet Camaro Gets Stronger V6

Chevrolet Camaro

With the Camaro being a bigger success than expected the engineers from Chevrolet decided to give the Chevy’s V6 a power upgrade. The upgrade includes only 8bhp up to a total output 314 horses and a new peak torque of 370Nm. The price tag raises with $ 350. Production of the 2011 model begins on June 7th.

Jim Campbell, U.S. Vice President of Chevrolet’s Marketing Department states:

We are pleased with Camaro’s success in the market during its first year of production. The 2010 model year has been a banner year for us, and we plan to build on this momentum.
