Tommy Kaira Nissan GT-R

Tommy Kaira Nissan GT-R

As with most Japanese auto shows, we expect to see a huge amount of tuning work for the Nissan GT-R. The 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon will be no exception to the rule. Tommy Kaira have announced their latest GT-R based project in the form of an aerodynamic kit to be shown at Tokyo between January 15-17.

The Japanese tuning house will focus on the interior, aerodynamics and suspension with their new kit. The front bumper, front lip spoiler, side skirts, extended rear fenders, rear diffuser, and a rear wing will all be replaced with carbon fibre units.

Inside, hand stitched Recaro’s will be finished in red-stitched leather and carbon accents will be used throughout the cabin. It’s not clear what Tommy Kaira have in store for the suspension but we suspect it’ll be something equally special. We’ll bring you more when we know more.
