Our friends at Autogespot claim to have spotted a production-ready D8 Peking-to-Paris SSUV at the Spyker facility in the Netherlands. Spyker has confirmed the production version of the Spyker SSUV will get a V8 instead of the V12 that could be found in the D12 concept.
But we have bad news for the fans and press anticipating the release of the D8 Peking-to-Paris SSUV at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month, Spyker is not listed as exhibitor in Frankfurt and Spyker CEO Victor Muller told us that it’s more likely the D8 Peking-to-Paris will be introduced at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The Spyker D8 shown in Geneva next year will have minor updates resembling Spyker’s latest model the Aileron.

@Dave: those shots are from the 2007 D12 concept, the new D8 will look a bit different.
Looks like a stretch spyker, except it’s not stretch horizontally, but vertically.
Proof that SUV’s are a stylistic fad. No one in their right mind would take one of those off-road.
That…errrmmm…looks crap.
