Artega showed their lightweight Artega GT again in Geneva. The 3.6 liter V6 produces 300 hp and is good for a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and a topspeed of 270 km/h+. With their brand new production facility in operation since september 2008 the first deliveries are scheduled for this month.
Artega is first of all aiming for their home market, Germany, but will soon expand across Europe and later the United Kingdom with their right-hand drive Artega GT. Production should increase step-by-step to around 500 Artega’s a year. The Artega GT with a 79.500 euro pricetag should offer a nice and more exclusive alternative to popular sportscars from brands like Audi and Porsche.
