The Geneva Auto Show is known for it’s exclusive cars. But “the more exclusive the better” is a quote that always puts a smile on our faces. There will be a South African, yes African, concept car called the Perana Z-One shown to the world and to make it even more exclusive we can tell you that Zagato had his hands on this concept. When seeing the design we expect a performance car. That’s exactly what you’ll get with a 6.2 liter V8 from GM. The engine will produce 440 bhp on the rear wheels only. That power let’s you sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in just 4 seconds.
The frame is designed by the South African Perna Performance Group and will weigh about 1195 kg and will be made out of steel only. Also nice to know is that Perana is aiming to produce a 1000 cars a year and sell them at € 50,000 per piece. We can’t wait to find out more about this one in Geneva!
