At the Paris Motorshow next month, Audi will show the final production ready V12 TDI Q7. The car was already shown at the 2008 Geneva Show at the begining of the year, but back then we didn’t know that sales will start in October at a price of €130,600 ($184,120 or £105,276). There are no plans to sell this car yet in the US but where sure a few will make it over as imports.
Being both the worlds most expensive standard production SUV and the most powerful diesel SUV, the car has a lot to live up to. The huge V12 pruduces a staggering 500bhp along with 750lb-ft of torque, this allows it to reach 62 in 5.5 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 155. The economy figures, 21mpg, are better than some competitors but we suspect this won’t be on the minds of potential owners in this price range.
