We know Mosler as a very high-performance and exotic car manufacturer. Once you belong in that group you don’t need to come up with a new model every single year. What you do is creating a facelift, new model or just some extra’s on a existing car when you are celebrating a birthday. This year is Mosler’s 20th anniversary and they present a European model listening to the name MT900 GTR XX. Only that name gives most of us a good feeling!
Back in 2006 in support of the their Le Mans entry, Mosler’s German importer, Mosler Deustchland, developed a European road car based on the English built MT900 R, called the MT900 GTR.
This latest light weight version of the GTR receives the added designation of two roman numerals, XX, for 20th anniversary. Powertrain remains the same as the GTR with the 600 bhp 7.0-liter LS7 Corvette V8 and 6 speed clutch. No performance specs are offered yet, but we can tell you that the normal GTR sprints to 62 mph (100 kmh) in just 3.1 seconds and tops out at 211 mph (340 kmh). Total weight should be around 1,060 kg (2336 lbs.). We guess that’ll say enough for now!
